Stimulate Body and Mind
What is it?
Indian Head Massage uses and adapts classic Swedish massage techniques for treating scalp, face, neck, shoulders and upper arms. It works on the areas of the body that are most affected by stress, however while the treatment is just on the upper part of the body it's effects are felt throughout the mind and body. This is a sitting down treatment which suits all -especially if there are mobility issues, and it is a relatively short treatment of approx 30 mins.
I massage the shoulders, neck, scalp, and face with gentle movements that relaxes the layers covering the head, improving blood flow, nourishing the hair follicles and alleviating any tension.
Mental tension fades, clearer thinking flourishes, stimulates concentration.
The Higher Chakras such as –the Crown, Third Eye and Throat Chakra-are the energy points in the head area really benefit from Indian Head Massage
